Red Nose Day

This Friday, the 24^th of March marks Red Nose Day.

Comic Relief organises two major fundraising events, each in alternate years. The first one is Sport Relief and the second is Red Nose Day. So far, both of these campaigns have raised over 1 BILLION POUNDS towards helping vulnerable children and young people across some of the poorest communities worldwide.

Showing true charitable spirit, one of our tenants, Connect Childcare, set out to raise money for this great cause, by 'knocking the nose off Chris' (throwing wet sponges at their director, Chris).

Everyone who participated in 'trying to knock the nose off Chris' donated at least £1 to the charity, and Connect Childcare raised a fantastic £75 (at three sponges for a pound, that's one heck of a wash Chris got!), with more to come!

Business First also played host to a charity bake sale with Amy, who is linked to the Burnley Express, who raised a superb £85.
